SwapAds Trust and Safety Rules
SwapAds is built for long-term link equity, not short-term gaming. The network enforces a small set of hard rules.
The rules
- No reciprocal 1:1 patterns — links are traded through the 3-way structure, never as direct swaps.
- No private blog networks (PBNs) — every site is verified and indexed before joining.
- No paid links — the network is pure barter; buying or selling placements is grounds for removal.
- Branded anchor text — the recommended pattern across the network.
- Niche-aware matching — you only see partners in compatible niches; matching respects niche boundaries.
Technical safeguards
- HMAC-signed API requests (SHA-256) with time-limited nonces and replay protection.
- Credentials encrypted at rest on every client.
- Per-IP rate limits on all write endpoints.
- No tracking pixels — the client adds nothing to your front end beyond the block or shortcode you place.
GDPR
The client sends only your site URL, your declared audience, and the HTTP metadata required for API authentication. No visitor data leaves your site.
